Real Time Vision for PCI Express

Real Time Vision
PCIe-RTV24

ADLINK Technology, Inc. announces the PCIe-RTV24, a high speed video capture card supporting four channels of NTSC/PAL, EIA/CCIR input. Based on the PCI Express® bus, the PCIe-RTV24 offers the higher bandwidth required by machine vision, security, and video surveillance applications, such as position location, biometric face recognition, and vehicle license plate identification.
The PCIe-RTV24 provides four digitized vision stream for real-time image acquisition with frame rates up to 30 fps, per channel. The PCIe-RTV24 output is RBG24/RGB16 and Y8—commonly used in such machine vision, security, and video surveillance applications. The PCIe-RTV24 also provides a watchdog function and offers four digital input/output signals which can be used for strobe light control, trigger acquisition, and alarm signals.
The PCIe-RTV24 supports Microsoft Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, and Linux. Software is supported through Microsoft® DirectX®, Video for Linux, and VIs for National Instruments® Labview®. Custom programs can be developing using Visual C++, Visual Basic, C++ builder or Delphi environments.

24-bit Precision Load Cell Input Card

Load Cell Input Card
PCI-9524

Designed specifically as a single-board solution for material testing system (MTS) applications, the PCI-9524 integrates 24-bit load cell measurement, four channels of general-purpose analog input, two channels of general-purpose analog output, three channels of pulse-wave modulation output, 16-bit isolated digital I/O, and a three-axis encoder.

The PCI-9524 combines a high 24-bit resolution with 1/200,000 count accuracy to provide the most precise load cell measurement PCI board available in the market today.

The high precision of the PCI-9524 is achieved through the use of a remote sensor circuit to monitor the excitation voltage of the load cell sensor. When the resistance of the leads causes a drop in excitation voltage, this circuit will provide automatic voltage compensation.

Other technologies implemented in the PCI-9524 include an auto-zeroing feature to reduce semiconductor noise, thermal noise, and thermal coupling. Analog and digital filters further reduce RFI and other electrical noise that may occur.

Analog Output Card
PCI-6202

Designed specially for dynamic signal simulation and control applications that require 16-bit accuracy through voltage output, the PCI-6202 is ADLINK’s first 16-bit AO card to provide hardware-timed waveform generation supporting a simultaneous updating rate for four analog output channels simultaneously at 1 MS/s per channel.

Additionally, the PCI-6202 provides multiple programmable I/O options: digital I/O (TTL), general-purpose timer/counters, motor encoder inputs, and PWM (pulse width modulation) outputs for simple motion control—all integrated as a single board solution to reduce the need for additional motion and digital I/O boards. A linear position trigger is specifically provided for encoder input, whereby when the encoder counter reaches a preset value, an interrupt or trigger signal of 200 µs, 2 ms, 20 ms, or 200 ms pulse width is generated. This feature is integral to applications requiring analog output control based on position feedback.

The PCI-6202 card includes WDM drivers for C/C++, VB, Delphi, C++ Builder, and .NET programming languages as well as full device drivers for MATLAB® and LabVIEW.

High Density Digital I/O
PCI-7442/43/44

Responding to the industry's need for high-density digital input/output modules, the ADLINK PCI-7442/7443/7444 DIO card series delivers up to 128 opto-isolated channels for a wide range of demanding PCI-based applications. With a 1250 VRMS (excluding cables) channel-to-system isolation protection, these cards are shielded from damage caused by accidental contact with external voltage while promoting simple ground connections. All input channels are identical non-polarity with each line isolated and suited to collect digital inputs even in high-noise environments. Featuring a Change-of-State (COS) interrupt function, the PCI-7442/PCI-7443 instantly generates an interrupt request to the PCI controller when it detects a sharp change in the logical state of any of its digital inputs. Promoting easy identification in systems with multiple DIO cards installed, the cards are equipped with a board ID design that enables fast and convenient card detection and troubleshooting.
